Shoreditch based retailer Article expands on their offering of menswear, footwear and homewares with the opening of their second store based in Brixton, South London.

Situated on the culturally rich Atlantic road off Coldharbour Lane and Electric Avenue, Article brings a unique and diverse benefaction to the neighbourhood. Boasting as the only independently owned retailer in the borough hosting a careful selection of apparel, accessories and home furnishings alongside locally roasted coffee.

The open plan design of Article plays on the historic Atlantic Road railway arches, built to sit perfectly in the symmetrical curvature of the two archways it inhabits. Refined details within the entirely handcrafted, bespoke furniture and fittings underpin Article’s one of a kind retail experience.

The ability to rotate their selection of goods in store whilst offer collection for online orders of past stock gives customers an ever-changing visual adventure, avoiding a sense of urgency.

As well as staple clothing labels found at Article Shoreditch, the Brixton branch brags an addition of more than 20 new brands. Spring collections from likes of Levis Vintage Clothing, Our Legacy, Soulland, Universal Works, Wood Wood, YMC and Fuct SSDD sit proudly between the original polished concrete flooring and bespoke helix inspired lighting of the main arch.

Located in the second arch is a spacious, dedicated footwear area gently lit and overlooked by a floor-to-ceiling woven wooden sculpture. With choices ranging from British made Triple Welt brogues by Grenson to specialised athletic trainers from adidas Originals and New Balance, Article covers every angle.
