Patagonia's Mission Statement is: "Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis". Originally, Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers, and still today alpinism remains at the heart of the worldwide business. As well as creating clothing for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running. The brand promotes a minimalist attitude when it comes to outdoor clothes and product design, with a bias for simplicity and utility.
Patagonia has a love for nature, and in an attempt to save it, the brand donates time, services and at least 1% of sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world. They aim to produce products using processes that are as eco-friendly as possible, as well as using organic cotton and recycled polyester.
The Patagonia brand has remained true to its core values over the years and continue to provide high-quality and functional clothes that look good.
