Carhartt WIP SS19 - Through The Lens Of Axel Morin

Narrowing down the images to feature in this post was a near impossible task. Carhartt WIP's SS19 lookbook features a smooth selection of brilliant shots by photographer and filmmaker Axel Morin, with Parisian model Ambroise Mendy the embodiment of an ethereal composure.

The collection is a reminder of why Carhartt is such a universally accommodating brand, and how its cult following has grown consistently since WIP's conception in1989. With designers who never miss a beat, everything from fabric durability to the hue of thread used for embroidery is executed to perfection. As are Carhartt WIP collaborations - check out the recent Fela Kuti collection here.

But perhaps Carhartt's strongest alliance is with the youth who chose to adopt it as part of their culture, and who the Work In Progress label cater to specifically.
