Stan Ray has a rich 50-year history producing fatigue pants since the early 1970s. The label originated in Texas, 1972, by Earl Ray Beard. A family-owned business named after Earl Ray’s first son Stan, the brand became synonymous for its super durable, heard wearing utility-style workwear pants and jackets which during the 1980s began being sold in vintage markets around Japan. The pants are still made in USA and are due to their hard-wearing qualities have been picked up by skaters.
Today, the workwear brand is best known for their Stan Ray painter pants and fatigue pants which have proven to be instant stand-out classics from the range. Created with heavy-duty fabrics, triple-stitched main seams, and available in a selection of designs to suit varied tastes, Stan Ray clothing has a timeless quality that lends itself to a vintage look as well as a more updated, modern aesthetic. Through military-inspired pants and jackets, heavy construction details, and understated branding, Stan Ray has become one of the most popular heritage brands from the US.
